Mundo & Esther Gomez, new associate evangelists bringing the Gospel with evidence to Spanish-speaking peoples everywhere.
FaithSearch announced that God has answered our prayers—and an urgent need—by providing a couple to be our Spanish-language evangelists / trainers / teachers.
Mundo & Esther Gomez have responded to God’s call to become Associate Evangelists with FaithSearch International, to bring the Gospel with evidence to Spanish-speaking peoples everywhere.
“Mundo” (short for Edmundo) is literally the Spanish word for “world”—hence, the “world” has come to FaithSearch. Continue reading
Friends of FaithSearch joined Dr. & Mrs. Bierle in
a firsthand exploration of the evidence for the New
Testament on our recent Holy Land tour.
Shalom FaithSearch Friend,
I can’t resist using a Hebrew greeting since Vernee and I just returned from leading a group of forty-one friends of FaithSearch on a memorable tour of Israel, the land of Jesus. It was remarkable:
The spiritual impact of our primary evangelism event, FaithSearch Discovery, is its scientific proof that the biblical accounts of Jesus’ life and ministry are from eyewitnesses and are historically accurate. As the apostle Peter stated, “For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty” (2 Peter 1:16). In Luke 5:5-8, Jesus instructs Peter and his crew to “cast the nets on the other side of the boat,” where they miraculously found a net-breaking catch of fish.
Our theme this year is “As You Say… LORD!” Peter initially responded to Jesus’ instruction respectfully, calling Him “Master.” When he witnessed the miraculous catch resulting from Jesus’ guidance, he bowed and worshiped Him as LORD.
Through 35 years of ministry, FaithSearch International has sought the Lord’s direction at each turn for where next to “cast the nets” in proclaiming the Gospel with evidence. We have been equally amazed as God has guided the growth of our ministry. Witness several key watershed moments in our history: Continue reading
Dr. Don Bierle
Dr. Don Bierle, president of FaithSearch International and author of the best-selling book Surprised by Faith, appeared on Faith Radio on March 25. He was interviewed by Neil Stavem for the program “Connecting Faith.”
You can listen online to hear him discuss the death and resurrection of Jesus, the importance of the Easter events, their implications for our lives, and the evidence which convinced him to make a personal profession of faith in Jesus.

Ephesians 6:17 says, “Take …the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
God has provided everything we need to “stand firm,” both in spiritual warfare and in our mission to “Proclaim the Gospel with Evidence to All Peoples Everywhere.” God is using FaithSearch International around the globe to help people “give the reason for the hope that [they] have” (1 Peter 3:15). By providing logical, scientific, and historic evidence for the veracity and integrity of the New Testament, we encourage and enable people to rely effectively on and handle accurately the Word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). Surprised by Faith Covers Awaiting Bindery
The third edition of Dr. Don Bierle’s book Surprised by Faith has now been released. As the text for the FaithSearch Discovery event, it details the compelling case which convinced the author to embrace the Christian faith.
The edition includes updates to scientific and historical evidence, as well as new sections which enhance the book’s ability to clearly communicate with readers of all ages and educational backgrounds. New transitional material has been added to help build the logical progression toward recognition of the New Testament as the most attested, reliable, and accurate document from all of antiquity. It is, in fact, an eyewitness account of the life and ministry of Jesus, including His claim to be God incarnate, and the implications of these startling claims in the life of every individual. June 2011 Ministry Trip to Honduras, Nicaragua, and Costa Rica
It is my joy to share with you a few insights into the progress of our ministry of proclaiming the Gospel with evidence to Spanish-speaking peoples everywhere. I have recently returned from a three-week overland journey through Central America and will soon be going to Peru for two weeks.
In Honduras—a country beset by poverty, drug addiction and violence—I had the joy of sharing the Gospel and the historicity of Christ in one of the largest public high schools (that’s right, “public high schools,” it’s not a typo) of Tegucigalpa, the capital city. Instituto Técnico de Honduras is a run-down campus in a broken down neighborhood where people go to trash dumpsters to forage for food and recyclables. Yet behind its yellow walls laid the most incredible treasure any country can boast of—many a young man and woman avid to learn a trade. What a joy it was seeing dozens of these kids making bold faith commitments to follow Christ! Continue reading
My recent two-week trip to Peru (Nov. 15-30) was the result of an invitation from my church back home, Iglesia Bautista Vida Nueva. They were celebrating their 20th anniversary by hosting a missions conference “Peru, Epicenter of Missions.” My participation in the trip was made possible by the generosity and commitment to world missions of Westwood Community Church. This was my 18th international trip since the start of my ministry as Evangelist for Latin America and Hispanic USA with FaithSearch International.
You wouldn’t know it by the recent lack of activity on this blog, but there has been a LOT going on at FaithSearch. With this post, we undertake to begin publishing brief, more-frequent, nearer-real-time updates (if not, then at least weekly!) from the ministry.
To this end, some of the initial flow of posts will reflect a backlog of information: recent international trip reports; new challenges facing the ministry; ongoing thoughts on presenting the Gospel with evidence…
First down the chute will be a write-up of our recent Benefit Dinner and Fundraiser. So, until then, please stand by.
